Edmonds has become a busy town in recent years, and this park provides a perfect haven when the rushed, thronging crowds get to be a bit much. The park's very tall trees block out the surrounding world, and its 48 acres offer secluded hikes, a swimming pool, a picnic area and basketball courts. It is an ideal place to enjoy a picnic lunch out in nature. Pool hours are available on the city's Web site.
