Casa Rodríguez

Religious objects
Calle Francos 35
Seville 41004
Spain
Founded in 1913, this establishment is very traditional. The store, in its third generation, has sold religious items for more than eight decades. Found in the centrally located Francos Street along with many of the city's older shops, here you can find statues of the Virgin Mary, cords, candles, and figurines of Baby Jesus and other relgious figures. A business that has been passed from father to son barely changing the look of the shop that still lives on, thanks to the Sevillian Holy Week celebrations.

Flandes

Spain

In this establishment, every piece is carefully arranged so you can view it in its ideal placement. The simulation of rooms of a house allow you to imagine how these articles would look in your own home. Boisseries, bedroom sets, dining rooms, living rooms, upholstery, and cast metal work. This store offers you rich woods and a decoration designed in good taste. If you like classic style and have time to browse through the store - and if you have room in your house and a wallet that will allow you to spend on great decoration - you can't miss out on this store.

Mercadillo de la Alameda

The most unusual objects
Plaza Alameda de Hércules
Seville 41002
Spain
If something characterizes this atmospheric open-air market it is the quantity of strange objects that you can find here. Everything you can imagine, from a worn-out pair of flamenco shoes to old dolls and used clothing, is available here. In addition to all this, the Alameda market also has old records, movie posters, inexpensive flowers and flower pots, all kinds of antiques, African crafts, Peruvian wool sweaters, fruit, vegetables and carnation bouquets. It is a spectacle every Sunday morning, and if the clock strikes 2p and the sun is beating down, you can always grab a beer in one of the many nearby bars.
