Casa Damas

Traditional house of music and instruments
Calle Sierpes 61
Seville 41004
Spain
+34 95 422 3476
Its window displays attracts not only entusiasts but also students and scholars of music and musical fields. In the midst of the many articles offered here a curious and unique mix is produced: the union of 'Rociero' drums with two-drummed kettledrums of African heritage. Here, you can also find many types of musical courses both by year and instrument, in addition to a wide range of compact discs. Likewise, it is possible to find good discounts on normally expensive instruments, such as the piano, which with luck you can find at up to a 20% discount.

Calle Betis 36
Seville 41010
Spain

Although the current trend is against smoking, and the restrictions in public places are getting tougher, there is no doubt that there are still those who feel a deep pleasure tasting a good cigarrette, Caribbean cigar, or pipe. In one of the most visited streets of the city, with a great view of the Guadalquivir, the Giralda Tower, and the Maestranza bullring, in the Triana neighborhood, this small smokers' paradise is found. Tobacco and objects for the smoker, especially Cuban, Dominican, and Canary cigars. And a public exhibition that is fully prepared and climatized so that those who still stand firm on their right to smoke can enjoy all types of tabacco.

Centro Comercial Los Arcos
Seville 41006
Spain

Although it's only to immerse yourself for a few minutes in the world of fantasy, visit this store where the adorable Mickey Mouse is right at home. Towards the back, above a huge pile of stuffed animals, there is a gigantic television screen that constantly plays the latest Disney video releases. Primarily clothes and gift items, with the unmistakable stamp of Uncle Walt. It's difficult to resist entering and even harder to leave without buying any of the thousands of items sold. From mugs at 1,000 pesetas, jewellery boxes for 6,000 pesetas, stuffed animals starting at 800 pesetas, keychains, T-shirts, costumes, swimsuits, towels, children's underwear, sneakers, hats, pencils, pencil cases, books, videos, albums. The color will attract you like a magnet, so if you don't want to entertain yourself too long here, it's probably better to use one of the other entrances to the mall.

Maspercussión

Sanctuary for percussion lovers
Calle Estrasburgo 4-1
Seville 41012
Spain
+34 95 423 8719
This is one of the few shops in Seville specialized in percussion. The owner, Juan de la Oliva, a specialist that has been the drummer for various Canal Sur Television programs, has made this store into not only a place to buy instruments but also a sanctuary for those that, like him, live percussion as a way of life. If you are also one of those that makes music out of a dry beat, here you will find from a Mario Cortés Flamenco beat box to an extensive selection of Egyptian, African, and Turkish percussion instruments. In addition, there is extensive bibliographic material about percussion and drumming at your disposition. So if you want to learn, just ask for the formative material that they have.
