Traditional house of music and instruments |
Calle Sierpes 61 Seville 41004 Spain +34 95 422 3476 |
Its window displays attracts not only entusiasts but also students and scholars of music and musical fields. In the midst of the many articles offered here a curious and unique mix is produced: the union of 'Rociero' drums with two-drummed kettledrums of African heritage. Here, you can also find many types of musical courses both by year and instrument, in addition to a wide range of compact discs. Likewise, it is possible to find good discounts on normally expensive instruments, such as the piano, which with luck you can find at up to a 20% discount. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Sanctuary for percussion lovers |
Calle Estrasburgo 4-1 Seville 41012 Spain +34 95 423 8719 |
This is one of the few shops in Seville specialized in percussion. The owner, Juan de la Oliva, a specialist that has been the drummer for various Canal Sur Television programs, has made this store into not only a place to buy instruments but also a sanctuary for those that, like him, live percussion as a way of life. If you are also one of those that makes music out of a dry beat, here you will find from a Mario Cortés Flamenco beat box to an extensive selection of Egyptian, African, and Turkish percussion instruments. In addition, there is extensive bibliographic material about percussion and drumming at your disposition. So if you want to learn, just ask for the formative material that they have.
