The city's most famous street |
Calle Sierpes Seville 41004 Spain |
This is, without doubt, the best-known street and it runs between Plaza de San Francisco and La Campana (a shopping area). Although it's a short street, it's lined with all kinds of shops, bars and cafés, and has a constant stream of people all day long. It's a prime location, right in the center of the city and completely pedestrianized. Next to this street are Plaza del Salvador and Capilla de San José. There are also several tiled walls in this street, one of these being the façade of Seville's former prison where you can read that Miguel De Cervantes was imprisoned here, and it was while serving his sentence that he had the idea to write El Quijote, the most famous work of Spanish literature. Wide commerical selection and cinema |
Calle De Luis De Morales Seville 41640 Spain +34 95 442 6193 |
The largest cinema complex in all of Andalusia, with 20 gigantic screens, also includes a wide range of services. Located across from the Sanchez Pizjuán Stadium, the "cathedral of Sevillian-ism", this shopping center brings together an innovative architectural design and a wide variety of establishments that make it not only a shopping center, but also a leisure area. Here you can find just about everything; any of the three floors will surely attract you. The shops and companies have taken great pains and now stores like Cortefiel, Zara, Mango, and Benetton offer more here than in their other stores. As for restaurants, you will find a pizzeria, "tapas" bar, a "Vips" diner, a bar-and-grill, and McDonalds. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Shops, restaurants, and cinemas |
Calle Marqués de Paradas Seville 41001 Spain |
Located in one of the city's most picturesque buildings, in the Old Córdoba Station, this new shopping centre, where the Warner Lusomundo cinemas are found, also includes sports stores, fashion and apparel, accessory shops, recreation centres and cafeterias. Ideal for a shopping trip, seeing a movie or grabbing a bite to eat with friends. Of course, there is a McDonald's and a Pans and Company, which helps to ensure that there will always be lots of atmosphere. Truly, the decoration is well chosen and has proved to integrate a modern and funtional shopping centre with the historical building in which it is housed. There is also a parking lot free for movie-goers. Review © 2007, Wcities |
