With décor inspired by all things Australian and signs using language straight out of the worst Aussie soaps, Walkabout is a popular venue with students and young locals. Its city-centre location ensures that, on weekend evenings, its roomy dance floor is packed with pre-club revellers. During the week, the promotional drinks offers draw in students. Weekly events include karaoke, sports nights, live music and tribute band nights. By day, the scene is one of total relaxation with large comfy sofas to chill out on and TV screens to entertain.
