Get a taste of local Hampshire wines at this combined vineyard, restaurant and bar. It is the largest vineyard in the county and the fifth biggest in the country. For those wishing to learn more, tutored tours can be booked. Those wishing to sample the produce can do so in the Bacchus Bar, where wine is sold by the glass, bottle and case and there are spectacular views over the complex. Fish is served as a speciality in the restaurant, while themed evenings, art exhibitions and live concerts are also regularly held. The vineyard is surrounded by 33 acres of forest that contains two carp lakes for fishing and a wildlife sanctuary. The forest can be used for walks, paint balling, laser shooting and treasure hunts. Take an audio tour around one of the best equipped wineries in the country and discover the history of wine making in England. A tour of this vineyard will take you through the process of crushing and pressing grapes, fermentation, filtering and bottling of wines. You can then enjoy a taste of the wines themselves in The Tasting Room, all included in the admission price.
