Set in a building dating back to 1898, right in the heart of the city, Hotel Hellsten is just the right place to retire to after the day's sightseeing. The proprietor-cum-designer has kept the building's old world charm alive. The rooms are beautifully done up with lots of antiques (mostly Swedish) and a hint of Asian influence. Bathrooms are tiled with Karystos stones and have bathtubs, showers, hair dryers, telephones and towels. All the rooms are equipped to give you a comfortable stay. The basement of the hotel houses a gym and there's also a garden in front of the hotel for you to have a relaxing evening. Review © 2007, Wcities |

A pricey venue |
Luntmakargatan 73 Stockholm 11351 Sweden +46 (0)8 16 0040 http://www.rexhotel.se/ reception@rexhotel.se |
Housed in a 19th century structure, this accommodation offers comfortable rooms in the city's media and music industry zone. The external look, however, does not continue within the hotel premises. The rooms carry a contemporary look and are fitted with modern amenities. There is no on-site restaurant but a fresh buffet breakfast refreshes you each morning. However, delectable drinks are available at the hotel's bar. Various points of interest like the Vasa Museum and the Opera House are located close by. Review © 2007, Wcities |
