Strolling along S:t Paulsgatan, you are bound to notice the thick and sweet smell of incense coming from Multikulti. Walking up to the shop window, you will find a fake mummy looking at you straight in the eye. This is Stockholm's most prominent world-music store. Located in a tiny space, it stocks every music record. Rooney, the manager, sells everything from indie cassette tapes and Caribbean CDs, to an occasional sitar, or an Indian tabla drum. You will also come across a few books and video tapes for sale, all dealing with various ethno-exotic topics. Tickets for all kinds of performances can be purchased from here.
