Pastry buffet |
Djurgårdsvägen 64 Stockholm 115 21 Sweden +46 (0)8 663 8759 http://www.blaporten.nu/ |
Blå Porten's serves excellent meals, but their forte lies in their tempting buffet which consist of baked products, such as cakes, biscuits and traditional shortbread. A stopover at this place is a good way to end a long walk at Djurgården. Digesting the food and the pastries won't be a problem, as you'll find art exhibits at Liljevalchs, just round the corner from here. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Good view, good food |
Mosebacke Torg 3 Stockholm 116 46 Sweden +46 (0)8 5560 9899 http://www.mosebacke.se info@mosebacke.se |
Is there anything better than sipping a cool drink and gazing at the sunset at sea? Mosebacke Etablissement includes a theatre, several stages, a restaurant and a café. The café is outside on a grand veranda and has the most magnificent view over Gamla Stan, Djurgården and the stunning archipelago. Several TV shows have been broadcasted from here. In the summertime, this is a place to go for some live music and dancing. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Operakällaren |
Karl XII:s torg Operahuset Stockholm 111 86 Sweden +46 (0)8 676 58 01 http://www.operakallaren.se info@operakallaren.se |
One of the restaurants in Stockholm privileged with a star in the Guide Michelin, Operakällaren is also a classic among gourmet restaurants. Chef Stefano Catenacci has a state-of-the-art kitchen at his disposal, along with astoundingly competent staff. Modern, traditional dishes dominate the menu. The main room is open daily from 6p-10p, whereas the Operabar and Bakfickan (slightly less ambitious but highly recommended menus) keep more generous hours listed below. Reservations are recommended for the main room, but not for the other two. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Watch the city pass by |
Sergels Torg 3 Stockholm 111 57 Sweden +46 (0)8 21 1035 |
Stop by for a quick bite and enjoy the spectacular view from Café Panorama, which is located on the top floor of Kulturhuset. Gaze upon the the bustling city of Stockholm—the place is closed for dinner, however, so the view can be appreciated only during the day. Coffee, sandwiches and other snacks and beverages are available here. In the summer, opt for alfresco seating. The prices are a bit on the steeper side, though. Review © 2007, Wcities |
