Strindberg's last residence |

What is now known as the Blue Tower was author and playwright August Strindberg's (1849-1912) residence and workplace during the last four years of his life. The museum is essentially a reconstruction of his apartment, and features, an extensive exhibit of the works he completed while living and working here. The museum also offers a fair amount of insight into Strindberg's troubled personal life, and a comprehensive library of his works. Review © 2009, Wcities |
