This prestigious club runs the world famous Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, the Southern Cross Cup, the Sydney to Mooloolaba Classic, and was the 2000 Olympics sailing venue. They also organise year-round harbour and off-shore races and social twilight sails for members and guests. There are excellent marina facilities, with chandlery, nautical repairers and a cafe.
