A few years ago, Leichhardt Council took the plunge and upgraded its local pool after seeking advice from residents. The new complex includes a fifty metre, heated outdoor pool, diving pool, wading pool and a 25 metre indoor pool. There is also a gym, swim shop and cafe. While lap swimmers form an important core group, families are actively encouraged and can picnic in the surrounding garden area, which offers great views of the Upper Harbour. Tuition available.
