Mudgee has been a wine-growing district since the mid 1800s, but it really came into its own during the 1970s, when would-be vignerons made a beeline for these fertile pastures. Established in 1977, Mudgee Wines's grapes are grown onsite, with no pesticides, herbicides or artificial fertilisers, and naturally fermented without any additives.
