Conveniently located by the poolside, with breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the Opera House and the famous Sydney Harbour skyline, Ripples Cafe is good for a casual date. Helpful staff dish out interesting and tummy-filling South Pacific fare - patrons claim that the fish-n-chips are the best, this side of the ocean. An ideal meal would start off with Oysters, followed by Tempura Prawns with Rice and Salad, Hot Chips and Chocolate and Honeycomb Cheesecake. Kids can have fun with the Fairy Floss, while the BYOB option makes dining here a bit easier on the wallet. Having won the best 'BYO Restaurant Award', it promises to be good value for money, though one should watch out for tables too close for comfort and the dicey lock on the restroom door!
