Within this complex there are three theatres, a bar and a restaurant. The Everest Theatre is for musical events and can seat up to 605. The York Theatre is an amphitheatre with semi-circular seating for up to 788, and the smaller Downstairs Theatre has a variety of seating arrangements for up to 200. As well as theatre events, the Seymour Centre holds regular art exhibitions in its gallery space and is the home of the University of Sydney's music department.
