Water taxi service |
Sydney Harbour Sydney, NSW 2000 Australia +61 2 0412 40 0990 http://www.watertaxi.net.au/ |
Avoid the Sydney traffic and hop on a water taxi, one of the best ways to travel across the harbour. More expensive than the regular four wheeled kind but also much more fun. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Sydney taxis and their fares |
Throughout the city Sydney, NSW Australia |
Taxis in Sydney are mostly white (there are some orange ones) with yellow writing. They often have a symbol on the door and all have a meter inside. When the taxi is free the yellow light on the top will be lit. You can flag any free taxi down in the street or can find one at a taxi rank. Taxi ranks are easy to spot as they have taxi written either on the road or on a signpost. You can also book taxis in advance by phone. City centre rank: Circular Quay, Central Station, Wynyard Station, Chifley Square, Market Street (by the State Theatre). Review © 2007, Wcities |
