For over thirty years the Summit has been a Sydney institution, officially opened by Sir Edmund Hillary in 1968. It was re-opened in November 1998 after a four-month refurbishment. Situated one hundred and sixty five metres above Sydney Harbour, as the world's largest revolving restaurant, it is the perfect place to view Sydney on a clear day. One can view the vista and sample the menu, which comprises a selection of 'Summit Classics' such as King Prawn Cocktail, Smoked Salmon Mousse and Duckling à l'orange. Review © 2009, Wcities |
