This massive cultural extravaganza is one of Australia's largest and most popular happenings. If it has to do with the creative arts, you will definitely find something interesting here to pique your inner muse. From experimental and traditional theater to major art exhibitions and concerts, the month-long festival has a bit of something for everyone. It showcases an eclectic range of homegrown and international talent. Many of the fest's musical events occur at such venues as the City Recital Hall. Other events include forums and seminars on a variety of philosophical and arts-related topics.
