Sydney taxis and their fares |
Throughout the city Sydney, NSW |
Taxis in Sydney are mostly white (there are some orange ones) with yellow writing. They often have a symbol on the door and all have a meter inside. When the taxi is free the yellow light on the top will be lit. You can flag any free taxi down in the street or can find one at a taxi rank. Taxi ranks are easy to spot as they have taxi written either on the road or on a signpost. You can also book taxis in advance by phone. City centre rank: Circular Quay, Central Station, Wynyard Station, Chifley Square, Market Street (by the State Theatre). Review © 2009, Wcities |
