Literary luminaries from all over Australia and the world converge on Sydney for a week of book launches, readings, discussion forums, workshops and signings. Most events take place at Wharf 4/5 Hickson Road, Walsh Bay in The Rocks. There is also a fun and informative program for schools. Many of Sydney's leading bookshops have special promotions, offers and events to coincide with the Festival.
