Situated in the Harry Seidler designed MLC shopping and office complex in the heart of the city, the Theatre Royal was opened in 1976. It hosts a range of mainstream theatrical productions, including big song and dance numbers like Cats, and seats 1,133, with three bars and a cafe for light meals and snacks.
