Situated in the heart of the city, Town Hall Station can be accessed from the staircases leading under the road and from the Queen Victoria building. There is a bus interchange and taxi rank nearby. Access to the platforms is by staircase and escalator. There is also a lift. There are public toilets and telephones and a wide range of small shops and eateries. A platform to the train ramp is available for wheelchair users and the ticket office is fitted with a hearing loop.
