Ice hockey in sunny Tampa

Tampa, FL 33602
United States
+1 813 301 1480
http://www.tampabaylightning.com/
When the Lightning began playing hockey in Tampa in 1992, quite a few residents were baffled by this fast, exciting sport. Since then, the Bolts have become one of Tampa's most popular past times with a state-of-the-art home at the Ice Palace. Games can get rowdy, as snowbirds try to cheer their home teams louder than the hometown fans. Games are usually in the evenings, but some afternoon games are scheduled on weekends and holidays. The season runs from October to April, tickets range in price from swank luxury box seats to nosebleeds.
