This restaurant offers a beautiful view of the Mandalay Bay area. Tables are laid out in the open-air section that overlook the scenic bay. It has two bars, one for sushi and another with an impressive list of wines. Guests can enjoy the sunset while sipping away at the bars. The cuisine is Pacific Rim and Continental, and the Blue Crab encrusted with macadamia nuts is the house specialty. The prices are high, but it's good-value-for-money.

The menu includes a mouth watering assortment of fresh fish, meat and vegetables, and their wine collection is an enviable one too. Even the decor reflects a heady mix of Asian and European influences with the predominance of bamboo fixtures. The place is also perfect for private parties and corporate events.

A non-smoking restaurant throughout, Redwoods features a menu prepared by Internationally known chef Joseph Chenard using fish flown in from Hawaii three times a week. Among the options: Spearfish, Opaka-Opaka or Crimson Snapper and Ono, served flaky or buttery with Javanese rice or purple mashed Okinawan sweet potatoes. Desserts come from the on-site bakery. Haiku Sushi adds sushi rolls to a menu that includes shrimp tempura and grilled swordfish for the less adventurous. Both a full bar and a sushi bar are available in this simple, intimate dining room.
