Located in the Canadian Broadcasting Centre, this museum traces the history of broadcasting in Canada. Listen to the vintage radio clips of Foster Hewitt, Pa Cartwright and Mary Grannan. Check out footage of Paul Henderson scoring against the erstwhile Soviet Union ice hockey team in a 1972 game. Take a look at the old equipment, such as a black and white TV camera, a cloud machine, and a microphone, among the artifacts. The Spry Theatre section of this museum screens old TV shows like Juliette and Wayne & Shuster. Call for the schedule. Review © 2009, Wcities |
