Opened in December 1998 on the site of the McLaughlin Planetarium next to the Royal Ontario Museum, this space is the first in the city to cater solely to children between two and eight years old. The museum offers interactive games and spaces designed to stimulate children's imaginations. Everything is hands-on here: from a Neighbourhood Gallery where they can visit or run a cafe, or start a business, to quiet areas where both adults and kids can read and relax.
