For the true film buff, this arthouse theatre prides itself on showing foreign films that otherwise would not get much exposure. Founded in 1990, the Cinematheque is the year-round screening programme of the Toronto International Film Festival Group. Besides nightly showings, there are weekly tributes to foreign directors and film stars.
