Turin has a wide choice of hotels, which will meet every need and satisfy every pocket. All the hotels are warm and welcoming, totally functional and wonderfully welcoming. Finding a place to stay in Turin is easy, all you need to do is decide what kind of stay you intend to have and let wcities guide you:

Luxury Hotels

At number 8 Via Sacchi, next to Porta Nuova station, you'll find the il Turin Palace Hotel: this hotel is four star and very luxurious, a little further down the road is the three star hotel il Genova e Stazione the decor is both classic and sumptuous at the same time . L' Hotel Genio has also been awarded three stars and is situated across from the station in Piazza Carlo Felice, on the corner of the glamourous Corso Vittorio Emanuele, drink in its pleasant atmosphere and elegant furnishings, and make use of its services. The Starhotel Majestic (also on the same street), is very comfortable and earns the four stars allocated to it. Moving towards the city centre, in Piazza Carlo Felice, you'll find the Roma e Rocca Cavour, a lovely hotel which is decorated with flair and good taste. Via Roma has a good selection of hotels for the weary traveller e.g. the Jolly Hotel Principi di Piemonte , the Jolly Hotel Ligure, and Hotel Nazionale, which is very cosmopolitan and suitable for business travellers.

The City Center

There are a lot of hotels in the city centre. If you head towards Piazza Castello, and stop in Via Carlo Alberto, you will see the Grand Hotel Sitea, richly decorated in four star splendour; the Concord is at the end of Via Lagrange, this too is lavishly furnished. Hotel Venezia is warm and appealing, whereas the decor of Hotel Astoria is for those who favour more traditional surroundings. At the top of Via San Francesco d'Assisi you'll find Le Petit Hotel (number 11), an ideal place for tourists and businessmen alike. A few doors down at number 15 is L'Hotel Liberty, a three star lodging on the fourth floor of a period building, which still retains much of its original decor. You will find l'Hotel Artuà and il Solferino Artuà if you head left to Via Brofferio, on the corner of Piazza Solferino, these are three and two star hotels respectively, under the same management: both are intimate, well cared for and very welcoming.

Near the Station

L'Hotel Diplomatic is in the direction of Porta Susa station, this is a luxurious four star hotel, located at number 42 Via Cernaia close to L'Hotel Dock Milano a three star hotel with all the modern comforts. There are several other hotels close to the station: the City Hotel is a four star hotel with contemporary décor and furnishings. Hotel Statuo, at 17 Via Principi d'Acaja provides you with all the services and facilities you require in a hotel, it is well furnished and has been awarded two stars.

Near to the beautiful Parco del Valentino, the Valentino du Parc stands proudly in Via Giotto, it is a small but elegant three star hotel. If you prefer more modern "tre stelle" comfort, then l'Hotel Giotto is also close by. Via Menabrea is home to l'Hotel D'Azeglio a pleasantly furnished three star lodging.

Business Hotels

If you are in Turin on business, you may find yourself staying in Lingotto, newly built the Hotel Meridien-Lingotto is one of the best four star places to stay in the whole of Turin.

Rural Lodging

Do you prefer the hills and the green countryside? Then you could choose Hotel Villa Sassi, a place for repose and submerged in greenery, the hotel also has an excellent restaurant, which is available for both guests and visitors. L'Hotel Crimea nestles at the foot of the hills, showing its three star splendour to the rest of the city.

Near the Airport

For busy businessmen the Jet Hotel is handily placed beside the airport, it isn't a modern monstrosity though, the hotel is located inside a splendid renovated farmhouse which also houses the Antica Zecca restaurant. Il Pacific and l'Atlantic are also near the airport and offer modern comforts and facilities.

City Centre

Turin
Italy
The physical, historic and cultural centre is the symbol of the ancient capital of kingdom of Savoy. Turin would not be the same without its "palaces", such as the Palazzo Madama or the Palazzo Reale, and the porticoes which date from the baroque period. These make up an extraordinary walk, which winds around the centre for 18 kilometres, and were built to protect the royal family and their court from bad weather. Starting from the Porta Nuova walk towards the Cittadella, and from there walk to Piazza Castello and under the porticoes which are surrounded by shops, bars and caf¨¦s of all kinds until you reach the River Po.
