This exhibition pavillion is an official non-profit institution for public use. It was founded in 1917 and was the first of its kind in Spain. It now holds approximately 40 trade fairs every year. Some of the most important include: Cervisama (ceramics), Feria Internacional del Mueble (furniture), Feria Internacional del Textil para el Hogar (home fabrics), etc. The trade fair itself is huge. There are 11 pavillions and 180000m2 of covered space available, making it the largest in Spain.
