Fun & daring meals |
Avenida Manuel Soto Ingeniero, 14 Valencia 46024 Spain |
This restaurant, whose name could roughly be translated as "The Brutes", is just a stone's throw from the port. They are specialists in birthday and bachelor/ette parties. The emphasis here, without doubt, is on having a good time, all in a carefree, young ambience, decorated in deliberately tacky style - don't be surprised if you see bedpans, toilet paper rolls and similar objetcs on the tables!. As the owners say, they specialise in "anti-depression treatments", providing "smiles without VAT". On the menu, you'll find interesting international fare, where shapes are especially important. From hamburguers to more elaborate dishes, the forms are particularly evocative. The desserts are equally creative and the cakes, erotic. Reservations are recommended, particularly at the weekend. Traditional paella restaurant |
Paseo Neptuno, 8 Valencia 46011 Spain +34 96 371 2025 |
This is a long-established restaurant that has been serving excellent paellas and seafood since 1888. One of its spacious dining rooms offers a lovely view of the Mediterranean. It has become one of the most sought after caterers for wedding receptions, business dinners and other special occasions. The wine list has a decent selection to choose from. The restaurant's reputation has spread far and wide and its facilities have expanded to include new private dining rooms and air conditioning. Review © 2007, Wcities |
