Fire ravaged this Kitsilano restaurant's original structure during the late 1990s. But like the fiery Phoenix, a better taverna rose from its ashes. A mannequin garbed in traditional Greek attire greets guests outside. Inside, it is reminiscent of a Mediterranean courtyard, with pillars, window-framed mirrors, plants and a sky blue ceiling. Classic dishes ranging from Lamb (Exohiko), Beef (Gyros and Moussaka), Pork Ribs and Chicken (Kotopoulo Stithos) are on the menu. All entrees are served with rice, potatoes and salad.
