"It's a cinema, you heathen, not a movie theatre." Don't be surprised if you overhear that in a line-up at this chi-chi five-screen multiplex. Kitsilano yuppies and young boarders finished shopping at next door's Westbeach grab non-fat lattes and muffins before settling into one of this theatre's five comfy and stylish cinemas. It shows foreign, independent and alternative wide-release films and is located minutes from downtown on the West Side. There are matinees on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
