For those interested in the magnificent forests of British Columbia and how the resource is used and protected, this is the place to get the forest industry's perspective. Located in the "steel forest" of downtown, this visitor's centre includes 1,500 square feet of interactive displays, including models of harvesting operations, information on sustainability, and exhibits on wood as an environmentally friendly building material. There are maps, images, reports, videos, and other resources. Guided tours and lectures are available. Admission is free.
