Whatever road you take when you explore historic Gastown (Carrall, Powell, Water or Alexander) it will lead you right to this plaza. Here, you'll find nightclubs, art galleries, antique shops, cafés, and jazz and rock music clubs. Hidden in its corner is one of Vancouver's earliest buildings, Gaoler's Mews, which housed the first city jail. There are also blooming courtyards with cryptic names like Blood Alley.
