This Vancouver original is built over the water on steel piles, giving the illusion of floating on a boat. It is actually two restaurants in one location. Downstairs is Monk's Oyster Bar, a bistro that serves tapas-style samplers and full-sized plates. Upstairs is the more formal McQueen's. Try the Salmon and Cambozola Wellington (with spinach, roasted red pepper and scotch butter cream sauce) or the 1.25 pound Atlantic Lobster steamed or broiled. The menu is described as "Pacific Rim eclectic".
