The food at this Kitsilano favourite is as exotic as the African continent itself, featuring a rich blend of spices. The décor is warm and bright, with festive Northeast African accents. The owners are personable and there are regular drumming performers and jam sessions. The menu features a range of Ethiopian cooking in mild to spicy variations. Try the spicy Yedoro Watt: tender chicken with lemon and sautéed in seasoned butter and stewed in red pepper sauce. You can always cool your tongue down with a glass of African beer or wine.
