Crack into some fresh East Coast lobster at this bistro located two blocks from Kitsilano Beach. The decor is contemporary, with light and airy clay-colored walls, slate tiles, white linen-covered tables, and Art Deco-style French posters. Live entertainment is featured most summer evenings. Lovers of shellfish will revel in the selection here. The Atlantic Lobster is served in a variety of ways, including in a fresh bisque and salads. The menu also features pasta and seafood-free entrees.

Freshness being the motto, these guys collaborate with the local fishermen to get a grab of the day's best catch. Bite into some delicious Fish-n-Chips, in a unique Beer Batter with Gordo's Tartar Sauce – they're apt to put some local burger chains to shame! The scrumptious Yucatan Fish Tacos with the local grilled fish is divine. A tasty, non-fussy meal here is guaranteed, amid natural settings and lots of flowers and shrubbery. This is truly a fish lover's haven.

If you can tear your sights away from these breathtaking views, it would be only to ravage through an extensive menu, serving some of the best chicken and fish dishes one can find. The staff is welcoming and the service is in keeping with the smart and cheerful décor, which is accentuated by two outdoor fireplaces. Bite into some lip-smacking Crab Rolls, followed by Chicken Breast and Warm Honey Potato Salad. Pairing up a dish with wine does not require an expert, for the list is full of Canadian and international favorites. At the end of it all, you may be presented with a rather hefty bill, but for the food, ambience and service, it's worth every cent!
