This store is a hip outfitter of clothing, body armour, accessories, and specialty products for mountain bikers and BMX racers. Ingrid Doerr, a bike courier dissatisfied with the scant selection of clothes and accessories available for bike messengers, founded Roach in 1988. It all began with a prototype courier bag that became a hit with her fellow downtown street warriors.
