Hidden along an unassuming section of downtown's Granville Street, this café-bar offers a relaxing escape. Elevated above street level, a narrow staircase leads you to a cozy, hip room with twisted light fixtures, walls painted bright crimson, yellow and powder blue; and large, cushioned couches. This eclectic place is a popular venue for listening to spinning DJs, live music and spoken word. An enormous bowl of made-from-scratch soup can be had for less than CAD5. The after-hours establishment also serves alcoholic beverages until 2am.
