This gem museum is housed in a heritage bank building in downtown Vancouver. Its three galleries illustrate the nature of minerals in layman's terms. The Discovery Gallery is an introduction to rocks, minerals, ores, gems and crystals. The main gallery explains the role minerals play in our health and surroundings.
