The first edition of Navalia – Venice's wooden boat show, held at the Venice Arsenale – was an extraordinary success and positioned itself straight at the top of wooden boat shows. This year's edition, from 9-12 May, is supposed to be even more promising: the exhibition area has been expanded, exhibitors can enjoy the pleasures of a well-serviced network and it features a series of impressive cultural events. There will be a number of international and national conferences on wooden vessels, and during the show, the national award for the best restoration will be announced.
