Just a stone's throw from the opera house, the onsite Astoria's bar is popular with visiting musicians and opera singers, and is a very agreeable place to while away the evening. The hotel itself contains a stunning art deco foyer and splendidly spacious rooms. Each guest room holds enormous, nearly floor-to-ceiling windows and nightstands with lamps at either side of the bed.
