Built in 1895, it is a very comfortable Alsergrund hotel with modern furnishings. All rooms are en suite with cable TV and it also rents apartments with kitchens. The friendly, multi-lingual staff offers excellent recommendations for sightseeing and dining. One thing to watch for: prices drop significantly in low season. It is within easy walking distance of the district's best restaurants and bars and only a stone's throw from Franz-Joseph train station.
