This is a rather small but very inexpensive pension in the 8th district, just a short tram ride from the Ringstrasse. The rooms are spacious and have creaky parquet floors and rather crudely fitted showers, just a hint of the victory of practicality over elegance at this hotel. The rooms are, however, a real bargain for the very central location, in the midst of the patrician Josefstadt district. Worthy of note: even allergy-stricken guests are assured a good night's rest—the hotel supplies natural fiber bed linen upon request. Review © 2009, Wcities |
