On the one hand the Café Sperl, which opened its doors in 1880, is a memento of old Vienna, but on the other hand the Thonet chairs, crystal chandeliers and marble tables create a timeless and stylish atmosphere. Artists and writers seem to particularly like the Sperl and come here often, perhaps because they prefer the warm and cozy coffeehouse to their own cold and dark flats. Visitors to Vienna will enjoy the classic and classy ambience here.
