Famous British architect and designer Terence Conran has lent his designer touch to Vienna's Das Triest. The building, called "Stadt Triest" (City of Trieste), was originally used as a main station and stable for the horses pulling the stagecoaches between Vienna and Trieste. The old cross-vaulted rooms, which give the building a distinctive flair, have been transformed into lounges, suites and meeting-rooms with incredible attention to detail. The total of 73 recently redesigned bedrooms are all en suite and boast all modern conveniences. Review © 2009, Wcities |
