The Heiligenstädter Pfarrplatz, with its old church of St. Jakob and small houses, is quite romantic. It's lovely to take a walk along the small roads there. Near the famous Mayer am Pfarrplatz, whose wines are recommended in the Gault Millau, there are plenty of taverns (in Probusgasse), which are well worth a visit.
