Hotel König is steeped in history right down to its last brick! This historical edifice is located in the heart of Vienna, with the Saint Stephen's cathedral in close proximity. Now for some history - lodgings in König began as early as the year 1815. Aristocrats and affluent lords resided in the chambers, the most distinguished of all being Mozart! He even composed the 'The Marriage of Figaro' here, during his stay of a few years. In fact, an officially designated Figarohaus is part of the hotel. The décor is grand but not pompous, and the rooms are equipped with adequate amenities.
