This classic Viennese pension, dating from the turn of the century, is situated above the Bellaria cinema. The Bellaria shows old black-and-white films to a usually rather droll audience—most of them pensioners. The hotel's rooms are massive, with high ceilings and parquet floors, but are rather sparingly furnished. The sitting and breakfast rooms have furry chairs and, of course, chandeliers. A plus for families is that it is right opposite the Museum of Art History and the Museum of Natural History and their extensive collections.
