It's quite obvious that a University must be around: the streets are full of young people, books under their arms, hurrying to their next lesson. And indeed, the Lehrmittelzentrum lies on the ground floor of the Technical University. It was meant to be mainly a bookshop for students, but has turned into a place for real computer addicts. It offers specialized books and software. The branch at nearby Rilkeplatz focuses on architecture, chemistry and mathematics.
